I know there is probably a hundred other things you would want me to write about! I understand that there is more to college than which Keurig is the the perfect one for your dorm, but sometimes, I think it is nice to just have random little posts for fun!
When I got my six free months of Amazon Prime, I relied on it for so many things (lol)! You can check that trial out on my Resource list! I totally recommend signing up for it if you haven't! You get two day free shipping which comes in handy a lot, especially when you are buying your books! In fact, it was scary how much I was ordering! Anyways, along the way, I found some cool little hidden gems on there!
Personally, they have made my life a bit easier which is why I want to share them with you guys! PLUS, they are SO affordable!! I hope you guys check these items out!! Let me know if you guys enjoy and want more recommendation posts!
This little card holder is so lightweight that you really can't tell when it is hanging off your neck! It's super thin and has space for LOTS of cards! You can probably fit up to eight or ten cards in it plus some cash! The reason I loved it soo much was because on the other side of the holder, there is a clear slot for an ID that you can scan your card without having to take it out! It was super convenient for me because to get inside my dorm building, I had to swipe my card and taking it out all the time from my wallet or backpack scared me because I feared losing it or dropping it. It was also nice because I had quick and easy access to all the cards I needed right away!
Going into college, I found myself using my laptop and iPad a whole lot more especially since my textbooks were digital. I have prescribed glasses by they really did not help much when staring at a screen for more than half of the day! One night, when I was complaining about a headache I had caused by my computer, one of my suitemates told me about some glasses her stepmom had bought her, blue light glasses. I had never heard of them so she explained what they were to me. Basically, these glasses block out the blue light emitted from digital screens. They help your eyes get less strained and will reduce/prevent headaches! There are many options that Amazon offers, different styles, different prescriptions (or no prescription) and all that. It is definitely worth checking them out!
Let me tell you something, the amount of times I have dropped my phone is crazy. I have dropped it down the stairs, while riding my bike, while running, from the treadmill...should I go on? I am surprised my phone still works and is intact. I honestly have to thank this phone case here for that! I honestly am not a big fan of those bulky, overprotective cases. I get it, they do their job, but they are so hard to put in the back pocket of my jeans! This case however is super thin and actually protective too. Also, since the case is clear, you can be on the trend of putting a Polaroid or sticker in the back of your phone. The seller is also amazing! When I bought it, she had a warranty were you could upgrade to a new case for the next new iPhone that would come out for free! I thought it was cool how she had some little offers running!
I recently bought this item and honestly, it's pretty great! I bought this because I wanted a place where I could store my iPad stylus, earbuds, and charger in one place that could be easy to access. I like to have my stuff organized in my backpack in little bags to avoid messes so I didn't really like having cables randomly everywhere. I like how compact it is and convenient it is! The iPad charger box and cable fit perfectly! As I read the reviews, I also saw that epi-pens and medication fit in it too! I honestly would have never thought of that! I carry an epi-pen so finding this out was SO cool because I don't have to worry about breaking my pen all the time (lol). It is just so versatile!
Like I mentioned before, surprisingly, I have not broken my phone yet, and I hope I don't ever. Aside from the case that I talked about previously, these screen protectors have come in handy! They come in a pack of three and include EVERYTHING that you need to install them yourself! I normally used to get them put on by someone who knows what they are doing but that was costing too much at the rate I was breaking them (lol)! The instructions provided are so clear and easy to follow! You really can not mess it up! I now install my mom's, sister's, and my protector! It is also nice not having to go anywhere outside of school or setting up an appointment to getting my protector replaced. It was nice being able to do whenever I needed or could!
All these things have been so convenient in my life! It is so crazy to think how I use these things all the time now! They really are my essentials and I am so happy that I was able to find them! I think when it comes to shopping, you have to find things that make your life easier and better, these things have done that for me!
